Shercon Resort and Ecology Park, Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas

I’ve written a lot about Batangas since there is quite too much to see and to do in my current location’s neighboring province. I have been to a lot of beaches and summits in 2017 in the said province but I don’t remember checking into a man-made resort of some sort. In the same year, my social media feed has also been flooded with such, particularly that of Shercon’s. Its pools got me so enticed but I didn’t have time. Just this December, when I ran out of trips and itineraries, I was able to finally get into this amazeball resort with my colleagues.
Shercon Ecology Resort and Park is located at Brgy. San Sebastian, Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas. In just an hour and a half or two drive from Manila you can enjoy the exhilarating activities on and off waters, pools and swimming areas with variety of marvelous and astounding hues and sight that will give you a sense of relaxation.

The pocket pool
Its land area is generally wide that a person with no sense of direction could actually get lost (i.e. me). In fact, when we visited it, we thought we had the resort to ourselves not until we came across with a group of students more or less than a hundred of them on the maze. This such a considerable space houses a lot of facilities from several pools, hotel, cottages, function halls, zip line, maze and more making it an ideal place not just for a simple getaway from the stressful reality but also for events such as team building, training, workshops and wedding receptions.

Facilities and Amenities

1. The Pools

Shercon is best known for their very iconic pocket pools. However, this is not the only one that the resort has to offer. There are actually a lot of pools that everyone can enjoy during their stay. Among those pools are the following:

2. The Function Hall

Shercon Resort and Ecology Park is simply not just for the refreshing dip at their pools with relaxing vibe. The place is also good for team building activities for small and big groups as they also have facilities for that and various function halls.

Things to Do in Shercon Resort and Ecology Park

A  day tour wouldn’t suffice to explore the whole of it. There are at least five to six pools of different views and locations. Rates of other activities are not included yet on the entrance fees.

1. Wall Climbing and Rapeling

2. Exploring the Maze

3. Picture Taking

4. Swimming

Another thing that I loved the most about Shercon are their staff. Everyone, literally every single staff, that we come across smile at us. They are very accommodating, too. Talking to them or simply asking for directions would really lighten up your day and pull you to the positive end of life’s continuum. Even the staff when we did the rapeling, wall climbing and zipline would ask us to smile if they notice that we don’t have those curves on our lips.

Accommodation

Day tour or overnight, Shercon Ecology Resort and Ecopark could accommodate their guests. To those who want to stay overnight, you can choose among the villas, hotel and dormitory.
Going around though isn’t  problem since they have shuttles around which could bring you to your desired place in the resort for free
For those who would go on a day tour, they have cottages available. If not, you can also bring your tents for your stuff or even carry it around with you. You just have to look over your things for they will not be liable for the loss of your valuables.
